A Sample Itinerary
Day One
Check in aboard "Jammin' " in the afternoon. Enjoy refreshments as we get to know each other and the cruising area. We will have dinner ashore at the marina and sleep aboard the first night at the marina.
Day Two
We will go over all systems aboard the vessel, perform engine room checklist and learn appropriate procedures for leaving the dock. Next we will get to know Jammin' under power as we head for our destination of Pitt Slip Marina next to Seville Quater in downtown Pensacola. Then it's time for a tour of the historic district and dinner ashore at one of the many fine restaurants.
Day Three
It's up early for breakfast and some practice at manuevering in close quaters. We are then off for more practice in navigation and a stop at Pensacola Beach for lunch. Afternoon finds us anchored in Big Lagoon for a swim and or a walk on the beach before sunset and dinner in this beautiful anchorage.
Day Four
Again it's up early for breakfast as we prepare for an offshore experience. We head out of Pensacola Pass and set trolling lines as we liesurely cruise the coastline to Perdido Pass. We are likely to have a nice catch along this leg of the trip. We will then head for Ingams Bayou to anchor for the night and prepare the fresh catch for dinner. Ingrams Bayou is secluded spot with abundant wildlife and great place to spend the evening.
Day Five
It's coffee and breakfast on the flying bridge watching osprey, pelicans, great white egrets and blue herons in the early morning. More boat handling experience is in store as we cruise up Wolf Bay with lunch at one of the many options available. Evening find us anchored in Roberts Bayou at Pirates Cove for sunset. A trip ashore to experience this famous watering hole is a must.
Day Six
We are up early for breakfast and to spend some time on charts and plotting a course. We again practice manuevering in close quaters and docking skills. After an exploration of Perdido Bay it's back to Bear Point Marina our homeport and a wrap up of the adventure.
